Many people write they like his 'paintings', but in fact Jackson's frameworks contain real objects that get a second life. Jackson explains:

"Before 1998, my main occupation was taking and developing photographs. However, I wanted to give much more dimensions to the pictures. That's when I started to look for all kind of objects that completed certain photographs. "Bon Appetite" below is a nice example that represents this point of view ..."
